In
response to--- Endymion: A poetic
romance--- by John Keats
Only
that
what
is éclat
is a
joy unto eternity
O! I
say Ahoy!
You,
who is of such beauty
In
pleasure’s essence sat
In
such eerie proclivity.
O!
Thou moon goddess
Permeating
such
Endless
ecstatic delight
Of
ceaseless perfumed youth
Your
twinkling pairs of sight
soothe,
for you a
scented
ethereal beauty
are
a joy forever.
Solar
delight diurnal or
Lunar
borrowed might nocturnal
in
all light I see…….flow
my ken(s)
fills in glee – fall
on plane(s) in ways such
that
even surfaces crooked
turn
plain as much.
For
you know… only that
What
is éclat
Is a
joy unto eternity
O! I
say ahoy!
Even
for that brazen beauty
I
carry hope in my pen
I
marry endlessness in my pain
Wait,
if necessary…even tarry
Coax,
cajole all…..hurry
To
throw all insouciance
To
insignificance………..
Discarding
all caution
to
the wind……
beauty
moves on
attempts
to find
tempts
all behind
moving
in unison
following
her tread
enchanted
by her gait.
Only
this… the essence
of
all marvelling and bliss
all
your deep dormant
desire
to kiss and sire
be
truthful in all longing
bonhomie
of beauty
is for
your belonging.
Earth
unfolds all her mystery
To
marry your tired soul
To
her womb’s chemistry
She
is always at ease
To
show your eyes
Uninitiated,
all that
What
is éclat.
